With a private reservation, you can interact with snakes, emus, and other critters. This activity is a must for anyone who wants to get up close and personal with the amazing animals which call Florida their home!

4. Bok Tower Gardens
If you want to take a longer drive out of town, you can travel around 3 hours and 20 minutes northwest of Miami to the middle of the state. Not far south of Orlando is a destination called Bok Tower Gardens. This National Historic Landmark was landscaped by Frederick Law Olmsted Jr., an has been visited by over 23 million people since 1929.
There is so much to see and do in this cultivated paradise. Along with the gardens themselves, you can walk along the Pine Ridge Nature Trail and the Preserve Trail. You can explore a mansion from the 1930s called Pinewood Estate, and visit the famous Library & Archives.
The most famous attraction at the gardens however is the Singing Tower. This iconic monument features stunning architecture, complete with colourful stained glass, and rises like something out of a fairytale from the tranquil woodlands. The tower takes its name from the carillon which it houses. Every day at 1 and 3 pm, there are live concerts. You should be able to hear the bells clearly no matter where you are in the gardens.
